Department Name: H4018: CH/GS Hospital AdministrationJob Summary: UK HealthCare is seeking a Radiation Safety Specialist to support the UK HealthCare Radiation Safety Program. Qualified individuals will have a Bachelors degree in Health Physics, Medical Physics, Radiological Science or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years relevant work experience. This position will provide services and coverage across the HealthCare enterprise in a variety of work areas in the identification, remediation and control of radiation hazards including radioactive materials, machine produced ionizing radiation and laser safety. This position is patient and provider facing and focused on the clinical environment. The Radiation Safety Specialist reports to the UK H
