Matthew Brenner, M.D., anticipates openings for research scientists at various Specialists levels. Positions are dependent on extramural funding, research contracts of individual Principal Investigator, and candidate's level of experience. The initial position may be for up to one year, with the possibility of renewal.
Requirements: Ability to explain procedures and protocols. Diffuse optical spectroscopy (DOS) monitoring experience. Laser instruments and laser safety knowledge. Experience in animal anesthesia, intubation, ventilation, airway management, monitoring, IV placement, and IM shots. Some experience in photography and digital imaging systems for experimental documentation, and presentation preparation. Ability to work in an interdisciplinary setting.
