UK HealthCare is seeking a Medical Health Physicist to support the UK HealthCare Radiation Safety Program. This position will provide services and coverage across the HealthCare enterprise in a variety of Medical Health Physics work areas in the identification, remediation and control of radiation hazards including radioactive materials, machine produced ionizing radiation and laser safety. This position is patient and provider facing and focused on the clinical environment. The Medical Health Physicist reports to the UK HealthCare Associate Chief for Radiation Safety and is housed under Hospital Administration.
Minimum requirements for the position are a Master's degree and 2 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
