Duties & Responsibilities:
Hand cleaning glass substrates prior to coating; such as lens, prisms, windows.
Review drawings and instructions to verify physical dimensions, cleaning. methods, and appropriate tooling.
Loading and unloading substrates from coating tooling.
Quality inspection of optics pre and post coat.
Documentation record keeping, updating logs and file quality reports.
Follow best practices and maintain a 6S work environment
Communicate improvement opportunities and ideas
Minimum high school diploma.
2 years of related experience, hand cleaning small detailed components.
Able to work in a cleanroom environment.
Good communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail, visual acuity and manual dexterity.
All applicants must be proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook and Internet Explorer. SAP experience would be an advantage.
Flexible approach to working shift and overtime as needed.
Experience cleaning Calcium Fluoride substrates and thin film coating knowledge would be an advantage.
Experience using ultrasonic clean line or related equipment would also be an advantage.
