Duties & Responsibilities:
Operate thin film metrology equipment
Loading and unloading substrates in to test equipment
Measure coating runs using metrology equipment
Monitor and record test results.
Read and follow work instruction on routers
Basic spectrophotometer maintenance, calibration and lamp changes
Follow best practices and maintain a 6S work environment
Communicate improvement opportunities and grow our metrology department
Minimum high school diploma with some College Coursework
5 Year’s experience measuring thin film coatings
Experience using PerkinElmer lambda 1050 spectrophotometers
Experience using laser based metrology setups. Experience with UV solid state or excimer lasers would be beneficial but is not required.
Fundamental understanding of laser safety and protective equipment.
Experience in a clean room environment.
Ability to troubleshoot minor issues and perform minor metrology setup adjustments as necessary.
Ability to perform basic calculations on the fly.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specs
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Good work ethic, attention to detail, initiative, adaptability, integrity
Able to work as a team player and take ownership of the metrology department
All applicants must be proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook and Internet Explorer. SAP experience would be an advantage.
Flexible approach to working shift and overtime as needed.
Applicants must be U.S. persons as defined by the ITAR (22 CFR §120.15)
Experience coating Vis/UV/DUV production runs a bonus
