POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE, Research Laboratory of Electronics (RLE)-Physical Optics and Electronics Group, to join a group that pursues fundamental investigations of photonic devices and systems. Will be responsible for developing novel Raman instruments for application in medicine and biotechnology, and developing novel chemometric analysis techniques. Will serve as the lead researcher on several projects, guide graduate students, and supervise undergraduate and summer interns.
REQUIRED: a Ph.D. in electrical engineering, applied physics, physical chemistry, or related discipline; expertise in the design and construction of Raman spectroscopy systems, biological and medical applications of optical spectroscopy, and chemometric analysis using statistical inference.
